Service is truly our priority, and it is our mission to make Lakeview Lodge and Trails an oasis in the midst of the wild and beautiful Haliburton Village

The Haliburton Highlands offers you the perfect chance to put down your phone, stop for a few and take in all the beauty that surrounds with rolling hills, hiking/ATV/Snowmobile trails, lakes, events, artists and small towns to visit.

After a day of taking in the Highlands, Lakeview Lodge and Trails is the relaxing place to come home to and unwind. Each room at Lakeview Lodge and Trails offers outside access to a balcony or a lawn so you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee, rooms have a mini fridge, coffee station and a microwave. In the summertime there is a heated outdoor pool and select rooms come with an outdoor, all-season jacuzzi.

If you still have energy or feel like a morning hike, we have over 3km of forest hiking trails on the property for you to explore. Don’t forget to bring your dog! They love our pet rooms and the trail too.

OUR HISTORY

Our journey started in 1960 as Lakeview Motel. Providing the convenience of a motel and the experience of a resort has been our core driving force. We have been transforming this place to provide the most unique experience. In 2021, we changed the name to Lakeview Lodge and Trails. For us, the guest is not a transaction but an opportunity to contribute in making memories. Run by a family, we are obsessed in providing you the best guest experience. Whether you are just visiting the Haliburton Highlights, need to relax after long bike ride, visiting the camps for your kids, coming to study, or want to relax after long-day of work; there is something for everyone.
